Axial Flow Fan Product Selection Points

1. The main control parameters of axial fan selection are air volume, total pressure, efficiency, noise, motor power, speed and shaft power.

4. When selecting the Axial fan, the air leakage loss of the pipeline system, calculation error, and the negative deviation of the actual air volume and air pressure of the fan should be considered. Generally, the safety factor of air volume 1.05 ~ 1.1 and air pressure 1.10 ~ 1.15 is used. Suitable for low wind pressure, large flow occasions; Conveying temperature < 80℃, dust content < 150mg/m gas.

 

5. Pay attention to the matching relationship between the resistance characteristics of pipe network and the characteristics of axial fan. In order to make the ventilator run stably, the ventilator should work near its efficiency point, and the working point of the ventilator is located on the right side of the peak pressure point in the performance curve (that is, the high air volume side, and generally located at 80% of the peak pressure). The efficiency of the design condition of the fan should not be less than 90% of the efficiency of the axial fan.

 

6. When the frequency conversion fan is used, the total pressure loss calculated by the system should be the rated wind pressure, but the axial fan motor power should be added by 15% to 20% on the calculated value.

 

7. The performance of the axial fan sample is the parameter in the standard state. When the working condition of the axial fan is inconsistent with the standard working condition, attention should be paid to the correction of the performance parameter of the axial fan.

 

8. When choosing the axial fan, it should be carefully compared, giving priority to products with higher efficiency, smaller machine size, light weight and larger adjustment range.

9. When choosing a axial fan, we should not only consider the one-time investment problem, but also pay attention to the long-term economic operation effect.

 

10.In general, the design lifespan of axial fans typically ranges from 10,000 to 50,000 hours, depending on the influences of the factors mentioned above. With proper maintenance and suitable operating conditions, axial fans can meet or exceed their design lifespan. If a longer lifespan is required, one can consider selecting high-quality fans and implementing enhanced maintenance measures.
